I love Scrivener for working on the early drafts of my book. I can store my research, notes, and drafts all in one place. Here's a post I made about how to import your Google Doc comments into Scrivener.

Great app for plotting out your story and they just added a new feature - Family Tree. See my post: How To Revise with Plottr.

For dictation on your Desktop or phone. I find it to be pretty intuitive and I don't have to clean up the text as much. It's especially great with names. Get one month free with my referral.
